Please tell us something about who you are!
I am the author of four nationally-published, Christian fiction novels, with two more in progress.

I'm also a former newspaper reporter who serves as a freelance writer, parenting columnist and nonprofit marketing consultant. My articles and columns have appeared in Heart & Soul magazine, Gospel Today, USA Today, the AARP Bulletin, the Richmond Times-Dispatch and on Crosswalk.com.
I am currently penning my first nonfiction inspirational book.

If I had to choose beween writing fiction or non-fiction, I don't know that I could. Each feeds my soul, because in crafting both, I'm prayerfully imparting an experience that not only grabs readers' attention, but also transforms their lives in some way.

Along the way, I'm trying to keep it real and relatable, so that you 'll see yourself, people you love, and even people you find hard to love on every page. Most importantly, when you finish reading something I've written, I hope you'll feel the power of God's unrelenting and unconditional love.

However, before I’ve reached the magic 21 days that experts say it takes to form a new habit, I’ve reverted to some of the old ones.

So this year, instead of c… Continue

Make Your 'Someday' Today

Every Jan. 1 many of us decide we’re going to eat better, exercise more, pray regularly or become more disciplined about meeting a particular goal.

I’m not pointing fingers, because I’m often in the New Year’s Resolution club, too. And like many others, I routinely fall off of the proverbial “wagon” before it turns a corner.

The tick-tocking of the clock on Dec. 31 is akin to a shedding process. It’s the one time of year that we’re actually open to looking at our lives and assessing what worke… Continue

All of these seem to be great reads. I'm intrigued by anything dealing with twins since I was one (my twin died before we were born) and now I have 4 year old twin godsons. But I will go with the group's decision.
