- Please tell us something about who you are!
- I just wanted to update my information and share a bit more personal information - as private a person as I am...I am going for it! I am the eldest & sister to a total of 14 brothers and sisters - yes some extended siblings, but we are still connected. I have lost two at very young ages. I am a mother of a 19 year old young (man) College student and a 17 year old young (lady) Fashion design College bound student. Everything I am doing now in my life is for them both, as well as my entire family. Not to get rich, but to show others that age does not mean our dreams die. I have learned that my 4 P's have changed my entire mind set, (Prayer, Patience, Positivity & Perseverance). I want my kids and my family to know that no matter our history, we can do whatever we strive to. Whether we win or lose - we are still winners. All family's have struggles which is what has inspired my book title - "If Only You Knew". We spend so much time trying to cover up what has happened to many of us just because of perception. Perception does not heal, forgiveness does. When I learned that I was not the only female in my family to be sexually, physically, and/or mentally abused by people we thought loved us and was suppose to look out for us and not violate us. I cannot describe in words how angry, confused and hurtful it was for me to listen to. For a while I would question, Why me, or why us, lord? Then one day, I said, "NO MORE", will anybody take anything from our girls and they not be able to speak out without being fearful or ashamed. With GOD as my head, I will do all that I can to make any child, teenager or adult feel like it is okay to talk about what happens. It does not have to be a secret or load for us to carry. To each and all who has suffered or been conditioned to feel trapped, victimized or even worthless....NO MORE - You are beautiful and it was never your fault - try faith and count it all JOY! What happens to you could save others.

This is one of my writings that has just recently received International recognition to be certified for publishment. This was inspired by celebrating that although I had been hurt many times, love still exists in me and GOD never left me.
"MR. AUTHENTIC"
You came into my life at a time when I had given up on LOVE. I've wanted absolutely nothing to do with it or even the thought of it...
You've waited patiently and continued to wait even though deep down you could have wondered If I may be only waiting to see if my past relationship could be restored...
As I've slowly dealt with my past and continue to overcome my fear of love let downs and broken promises. You always let me know you are near and would always be here.
Even with all my flaws and when I feel like I have nothing else to give...
Yesterday and today, you adore me still. As if I am a precious gift GOD sent for you to protect, yet you also encourage me to live.
You've opened my eyes and heart to trust again. Constantly re-assuring me that alone I shall never fall again...all I wanna say is THANK YOU for breathing new life and love into my heart as you noticed the sparkle in my eyes from the very start.
I love you unconditionally and now I must admit. I finally believe that even in the midst, "Authentic Love" does exist! ♥
