- I'm so blessed to be given the awesome opportunity to have my first book, The Taste of Good Fruit, published. Writing Christian fiction is one thing I know that the Lord has given me to do, so I feel passionately about sharing the message of God's love in the avenue that He's created for me.
Let's see. . .I am a wife to an amazing man with a heart for God. He's a scientist and gospel jazz saxophonist . I am so poud to be the mother to three wonderful boys. After wanting a girl my whole life, God blessed me with three boys! I trust He knows me better than I know myself.
Other than that, I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, but can be a tough cookie when needed. Speaking of cookies, I have a sweet tooth that never ends!

Welcome to our Book Club. I enjoyed reading your book., The Taste of Good Fruit. I checked it out at the library when it first came out. I had to wait for three weeks because of the waiting list but it was indeed worth the wait. I'm retired and I usually go to the Library and check out 4-5 books at a time. I love to read.

I hear you! It's so high to go out sometimes. In emergencies though it is what it is. They're having the dinner again to night if you need it. :)
I talked to my mom and she said that her church is giving free dinner tonight and tomorrow to anyone without power. She said take 35 (west, I think) and take the Abbey exit, then turn left on Third or Martin Luther King Way and go down to Upland. It's Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist, a big brown church. Food is available from 5-7 for the whole family if you're interested. Tomorrow too.
