Are you in position to be used by the Lord?

If you think or somehow know the answer is no, there is still time to get into position. Moses had a purpose in life and wanted to turn down his prestigious position. He gave excuses that his flesh felt was legitimate. He asked “who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?” I am not eloquent, I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue, he told the Lord. Why question your Heavenly Father; just do it! In

I John 4:4 it reads …”greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” You have already been equipped with the work the Lord has for you to do for Him. It has been implanted deep inside of you.

Are you in position for the spouse that you have been praying for?

Song of Solomon 3:1 reads “By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.” How many times have you described your spouse-to-be to your best friends? It is as if they are so close we can see them, so close we can smell them, and so close we can feel their touch and yet they are so far away we don’t know their arrival time. In the 31st chapter of Proverbs the 10th through the 31st verses speaks of a virtuous woman. Women should aspire to become a virtuous woman and men should seek after virtuous women. Too many times we choose anyone that comes our way just for the sake of having a spouse. We hear it often, “My friend has been married for 12 years and I am still single.” Stay single until the Lord says you have positioned yourself well and the spouse that he has for you has positioned himself well. Do not marry for the sake of being married or for companionship. Only marry when you know that they are sent from Heaven. You may ask how will I know. Matthew 7:7 tells us to ask …, seek…, knock (in prayer) and we shall receive…, find…and (the door) shall be opened.

Are you in position for a new job or promotion?

You may be going out on your first interview after graduating college. Have faith and be of good courage. Know within yourself that if this is the job that the Lord has for you no one can close the door. You have been training for six months with your supervisor knowing the job in line is for you. When the job opens up it’s given to someone with less time on the job and less experience than you. Don’t be weary. No matter how many times you have been passed over for that promotion, your time is coming. Psalms 75:6-7 quotes “(6.) For promotion cometh neither from the west, nor from the south. (7.) But God is the judge; he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Don’t become bitter and allow anger to build up on the inside of you. No person can determine what is for you when you have the Lord on your side. Stay in touch with Him and He will make the decisions for you.

Are you in position for your life?

Put on the breastplate of righteousness. Pray for the favor of the Lord to overtake you and your family. In Colossians 1:10 it reads “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
