FUTURE GLORY (Romans 8 NIV) of HEALTHCARE REFORM (Part 1 of 4)

As I prayed about President Obama's Healthcare Reform Teleconference on Thursday, August 20, 2009, I began to understand on a new level the coming of the glory of God our Father. "And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NIV).

President Obama is anointed into his political seat to manifest the coming of the glory of the Lord. This is not a trite revelation, but a deeply-rooted revelation in the good of those who love Him. We have suffered as a people regardless of our gender or race or religion. We have suffered at the hands of an industry that has been greedy and harsh and reckless in inflicting financial and physical and mental hardships against people trying to fulfil a purpose in the Kingdom even if they do not realize it yet.

Souls have been lost because of anger and frustrations over unaffordable healthcare costs. Families have been torn apart, people have died, people walk the streets with untreated mental illnesses, disease spreads at alraming rates, etc. and a certain segment of society has grossly profited as if loving thy brother is not required by God. This segment enjoys the riches without regard to the consequences of their greed.

God has promised His children fruits for their labor and greed has interceded that promise. However, God is faithful and He has destined one of His children to go into the enemy camp and uproot it. The enemy here, man and woman of God, is the healthcare industry as it is today. We cannot sit idly by and leave President Obama in the enemy's camp alone because the enemy is on a mission to keep all of God's children from reaping Kingdom harvest. It is abundantly clear that our future will be handed over to the enemy if we do not stand firm on the work that God is requiring us to do.

We know that it is necessary to do something with the healthcare industry when we look at our paychecks and compare our paychecks to what we brought home two years ago, three years ago. We know that we worry about how to afford our medications and if we have elderly parents blessed to be alive, we know that they do not deserve to be tied into bondage after sowing into healthcare for years, decades.

We, as children of God, are more than conquerors. We are more and stronger than the wicked side of the healthcare industry. We know and believe that God works for the good of us who loves Him and have dedicated our lives to staying on His battlefield to build up His Kingdom. Some experts have said this healthcare reform era is a modern-day civil war. America has not had a civil war since slavery ended. This is an emotional war as well. In any event, we must each stay true to the calling of God and assist in the passage of healthcare reform because it will allow 47 million brothers and sisters to have access to affordable and accessible, quality healthcare for the very first time in America!

From our college kids to our grandparents, we will close a gap between the have's and the have not's. Healthcare is from God because it allows good to come to His lost children. We will prove to the healthcare industry that when God moves, He moves and all things can be accomplished through Christ Jesus who strengthens us and we will not allow the promise of God for our future continue to be stolen from us.

For the benefit of my brothers and sisters who still do not clearly understand the benefits of Healthcare Reform in the U.S., I am going to share the summary of the President's Teleconference. Please feel free to print it out and share the accurate and honest and truth about the main issues regarding the Healthcare Reform Bill. President Obama has clearly responded in detail to the rumors about abortions being paid by Healthcare Reform, the Exchange known as "public option," the "Death Panel" causing fears for the elderly, and how Healthcare Reform will be paid.
