I got a nonfiction book for you to check out, if you haven't already done so. I Say A Prayer For Me: One Woman's Life of Faith and Triumph. Ring anybody's bell?

Grace and peace to you!
I must say that I've always been an avid reader. But my reading selection was limited to the Bible, newspapers, magazines, textbooks, and stuff I had to read for work/school. Occasionally, I'd read a good Christian or self-help book and a novel. But those were few and far in between.
Thanks to mentors (like Pam Perry of Ministry Marketing Solutions, Inc. . . . thanks Pam), my reading is much broader and more deliberate. I'm reading books to develop me, my ministry, and business. Not only that, I'm actually recommending books to others. I think I've read more books in this past year than I have in the last few years. Wow!
Anyway, I am still trying to get through Rhythms of Grace. (Marilynn, this book is ALL OF THAT! Oh your prose reads like poetry set to music. I am so a fan now. My sister is waiting to read it after me. LOVE the characters and the setting. You GO, girl!) I'm also reading Branding Faith by Phil Cooke, and a few notes and entries in The Evidence Bible compiled by Evangelist Ray Comfort from TV's "The Way of the Master" (praise God for that program). Yes, I have several bookmarks and I always have a few books simultaneously "in progress."
God bless you!
